4 Bedroom Cabin in Walker-In-the-Hills, Waynesville

Enjoy a quiet mountain getaway in this newly furnished cabin with stunning
views of the Smoky Mountains and quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway,
nature hikes, and beautiful waterfalls. On the deck, you'll be able to enjoy
the stillness and serenity of nature while also being a quick 10 minute trip
into town. Our home is nestled in the woods on nearly 2 acres of forest --
you'll be surrounded by trees that offer a sense of seclusion and incredible
views in any season from the deck and bedrooms. It's the perfect backdrop for
toasting marshmallows on our firepit outside.
Our Pet Friendly, Mountain View, 4-bedroom cabin sleeps 8 comfortably with
central A/C and heating on the first floor and mini-splits upstairs. One
bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, en suite bathroom, spacious closet, and a
view of the mountains and forest. The second downstairs bedroom also has a
queen bed and an armoire. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen
bed, dresser, and the best view in the house, and the other with a bunk bed
for children or solo travelers and a closet. Upstairs also features an office
space with a desk perfect for remote work. In total there are 3 full
bathrooms.
In our living room, you can enjoy views of the mountains, read a book next to
the wood stove, or kick back on the couch and watch your favorite movie on our
55" Samsung Frame TV with access to all streaming services. The kitchen is
fully equipped with a spacious fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso
machine, coffee maker, waffle maker, blender, and all essential spices and
kitchen ware to cook meals with the family or bake your favorite treats. Enjoy
the mountain air and mountain views Weber grill on the deck along with rocking
chairs where you can enjoy the cool mountain air. There's also strong Wi-Fi
signal in every part of the house and Nest speakers to play your favorite
music. We have keyless entry and security cameras at both the front and back
entrances.
Our home is great for families - along with the bunkbeds for kiddos upstairs,
we have a pack'n'play and a high chair for those traveling with babies and
toddlers.
Our house is located just a 6 minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway with
beautiful mountain overlooks and access to hiking. It's a 6 minute drive to
our favorite antique store Balsam, 15 minutes to our favorite BBQ spot Big
Nick's in Sylva, 10 minutes to Walmart or 14 minutes to Publix and Ingles
super markets, and 20 minutes to our favorite hike Waterrock Knob Trail.
Pets allowed up to 2 max (dogs or cats): $29/pet/stay plus tax.

Summary: This adorable house was an amazing spot for our family to enjoy. We had plenty of space, good books to read, games to play and an incredible view of the Smokey Mountains. It was clean, and had all the things we needed in the kitchen, plus the beds are super comfy!

Summary: This property has an amazing view, is very family friendly, big enough you don’t feel on top of each other, but small enough to still feel cozy! Has a lot of smaller kitchen appliances to use, but it did not have an ironing board that we could find so we just used the steam function on the dryer to get wrinkles out of clothes. A lot of games for family fun available and the bed we used (main) was super comfortable. We will definitely book again!

Summary: My husband and I brought our 3 older kids and each of them brought a friend ... plus our 2 dogs. The location was perfect, as it was close to town and activities (we went skiing in Maggie Valley). Although there were other houses relatively close, this one was tucked down on the side of the mountain with a gorgeous view. I actually preferred the night view with all of the lights against the horizon. The house had everything we needed, from firewood to plenty of cozy blankets. The kitchen was very well-stocked, also, including waffle mix and a waffle iron (that we didn't actually use but I was impressed that it was available). The house is somewhat small, but the main living area is spacious and open. It's also decorated with a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. The plants were a welcoming touch! The outside space is nice, too, with a firepit and room for our pups to run off a little energy. There's more I could write, but who really wants to read all of this. :) We would definitely recommend it to others and will possibly stay here again!
